2 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
2 large cloves garlic (must be fresh, not dried or jarred)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated is best)
2 TBS Romano pecorino cheese (or add more Parmesan)
1/2 cup pine nuts or roasted pistachios
1/2 cup olive oil
salt and black pepper
Combine the ingredients in a blender and process to mix. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
