In November, a friend of mine died. She was a beloved teacher of more than thirty-five years, a true Christian, and a beautiful woman in all ways. The morning she died, there was a gorgeous sunrise. It was truly breathtaking, but I remember looking at it and crying, thinking that Donna had a beautiful morning to die on (they were taking her off life support). I wanted to make something in tribute to her, so I chose this cross-stitch pattern
I think it will be lovely. It’s not quite the sky of that day, but it works very well. I haven’t decided whether to stitch it in black or white. I’ll have to try each and see.
