Snow

We’ve had a snowstorm all day today, and now there’s several inches, maybe even six, lying on everything like confectioner’s sugar. It’s funny how snow can change the look and feel of the landscape. The night is brighter and so is the day, somehow, even though it was overcast. Most of all, the dead grass and leaves are covered over and the world seems less depressing. I really don’t like winter with no snow. If things have to be dead, they should at least be covered up. Somehow the world looks new and clean…just begging for a walk where “no one has gone before”. Maybe I should write a poem…

Or maybe I should just take a walk in it!
